Details of the Research

Examining whether, in the current political and economic climate, the theoretical frameworks of ‘Market Power Europe’ and/or ‘Normative Power Europe’ negate or support the notion of the European Union as a global power. Where recent events impacting the EU (Brexit, Migrant Crisis and ongoing Eurozone issues) could affect the perception of the EU as a global power from partner third countries, in this case a comparative study between two countries in Southeast Asia – Indonesia and Malaysia.
