Details of Research

The pressures of climate change, growing energy demands and geopolitical considerations make the study of energy policies extremely important if they are to tackle these challenges in the future. These pressures have an undeniable external dimension and therefore, concentrating on external energy policies has inherent value. This is why this research focuses primarily on the external energy policies of the European Union (EU) and France. It aims to see how France, one of the EU member states places itself strategically on the world scene in terms of energy.
