Graduate Diploma of Arts in European Union Studies
A Graduate Diploma is a one year full time course, which can also be studied part-time, for graduates to study a second, or another, undergraduate major. It can be used for gaining entry to postgraduate qualifications.
It comprises five courses - three courses at level 300, with the remaining two courses at any level, as long as one of them is at level 200 or above - and usually all five courses are in the same subject. The course of study is negotiated with the programme coordinator and approved by the Dean.
Certificate of Arts in European Union Studies
A Certficate of Arts is for those who are unsure about whether they are suited to university study or can only study part-time.
The certificate comprises four standard courses at levels 100 and 200 and can be completed in 1-2 years of part-time study. Credit can be transferred to the Bachelor of Arts (and some other degrees), provided you haven't graduated with the certificate.
